Zenith Royal 710 - Chassis 7CT43Z1 - Zenith Radio Corp. Chicago, IL - U.S.A. - 1959. Transistor portable radio for the Medium Wave range. The circuit used seven RCA germanium PNP transistors: 121-54, 121-53, 121-67, 121-113, 121-52, 121-19, 121-19, a germanium signal diode and the ferrite antenna . The medium frequency resonated at 455 KHz and power was supplied by 6 1.5V type C (LR14) batteries for a total of 9V. The cabinet is covered with imitation leather and has a worked metal front. The dimensions are: 21.6 x 13.3 x 8.3 cm. Historical cold war note: As in other radio receivers with Medium Wave reception built and marketed in the U.S.A. starting from 1951 until 1963, it can be noted that also in this Zenith the acronym CD (Conelrad) is impressed on the dial scale in correspondence with the two frequencies of 640 and 1240 kHz. Il circuito utilizzava sette transistor PNP al germanio della RCA: 121-54, 121-53, 121-67, 121-113, 121-52, 121-19, 121-19, un diodo segnale al germanio e l'antenna in ferrite. La media frequenza risuonava a 455 KHz e l'alimentazione era fornita da 6 batterie da 1,5V tipo C (LR14) per un totale di 9 V. Il mobiletto è ricoperto con similpelle e ha il frontale in metallo lavorato. Le dimensioni sono:  21,6 x 13,3 x 8,3 cm. Nota storica sulla guerra fredda: Come in altri ricevitori radio con ricezione delle Onde Medie costruiti e commercializzati negli U.S.A. a partire dal 1951 fino al 1963, si può notare che anche sulla scala parlante di questa Zenith è impressa la sigla CD (Conelrad) in corrispondenza delle due frequenze di 640 e 1240 kHz.
