National Panasonic mod. RF-819T - Japan 1964. Superheterodyne receiver with 9 transistors and 3 frequency bands: Medium Waves, Short Waves and FM. Power is supplied with 4 x 1.5V AA type batteries (LR6 or UM3). The dimensions are: 6 x 7.3 x 2.1 inch and the weight is 1 lb 1.3 oz. In Short Wave the radio turned out to be surprisingly sensitive so much that, after having coupled it with an external BFO (a 455 kHz generator), on 7 MHZ I was able to listen to the faint signals of radio amateurs in CW (Morse alphabet) and in SSB ( Single Sideband) using its whip antenna. © IK3HIA, 2007.

L'alimentazione avviene con 4 batterie da 1,5V  tipo AA (LR6 o UM3). Le dimensioni sono: 153 x 185 x 53 mm e il peso è di 0.490 kg. In Onde Corte la radio si è rivelata sorprendetemente sensibile tanto che, dopo averla accoppiata con un BFO esterno (un generatore a 455 kHz), sui 7 MHZ sono riuscito ad ascoltare i flebili segnali dei radioamatori in CW (Alfabeto Morse) e in SSB (Banda Laterale Unica) utilizzando la sua antenna a stilo. © IK3HIA, 2007.
