Grundig Melody Boy 1000E - Germania 1972. Ricevitore supereterodina portatile per le bande di OL, OM, OC1, OC2 e FM con AFC (Controllo Automatico di Frequenza). Antenna a stilo lunga 1,18 m. per FM e OC, antenna in  ferrite interna per le OL e OM, presa per dipolo o antenna filare esterna, presa per cuffia e uscita audio ausiliaria nel pannello posteriore. Il mobiletto è in plastica con rifiniture metalliche cromate ed è dotato di maniglia per il trasporto. Nella parte superiore c'è una pulsantiera con sette tasti: Accensione, Luce scala, FM, LW, MW, SW1, SW2. Per l'alimentazione sono necessarie 6 batterie da 1.5V tipo D o LR20, oppure si può collegare la radio alla rete elettrica a 220/240 Vac. Grundig Melody Boy 1000E - Germany 1972. Portable superheterodyne receiver for LW, MW, SW1, SW22 and FM bands with AFC (Automatic Frequency Control). The whip antenna for FM and SW bands is 3ft 10.45in long, internal ferrite antenna for LW and MW, socket for dipole or external wire antenna, socket for headphones and auxiliary audio output on the rear panel. The cabinet is made of plastic with chromed metal finishes and is equipped with a carrying handle. In the upper part there is a command button with seven keys: Power on/off, dial scale light, FM, LW, MW, SW1, SW2. For power supply, 6 x 1.5V type D or LR20 batteries are needed, or the radio can be connected to the 110-127/220-240 Vac mains. The dimensions are: 15 x 8.7 x 3.9 inch (W,H,D) and the weight without batteries is 7 lb 14.9 oz. © IK3HIA, 2006.
