RTX U.S.A. for mobile use (jeep) mod. AN/GRC9 (1956) - The receiver part is a single conversion supereterodyne, for AM and CW signals whit frequency range from 2 to 12 MHz in three band. It use 7 tubes: (2) 1L4, (3) 1R5, (1) 1S5, (1) 3Q4. The trasmitter is capable of circa 16 W output using 5 valves: (3) 3A4, (1) OC3, and the final 2E22. The power supply is the DY88, equiped with dynamotors that transform the 6, 12 or 24 Vdc imput in: +500, +105, +6,3, +1,5 Vdc. Very good the receiver sensitivity.
