Heathkit transceiver mod. HW-101 sold in kit in the U.S.A. starting in
1971. The equipment receives and transmits SSB (single sideband) and CW (telegraphy) signals in the amateur frequency bands from 80 to 10 meters. Technical specifications: sensitivity less than 0.3 microvolts for a 10 dB signal in SSB, 2.1 KHz minimum selectivity at 6 dB. Transmitter: RF power output 100 W from 80 to 15 meters, 80 W on 10 meters (with 50 Ohm antenna load). 5 kHz/division tuning calibration, with 100 KHz crystal. 20 tubes used: (1) OA2, (2) 6HS6, (4) 6AU6, (1) 6BN8, (1) 6CB6, (1) 6CL6, (4) 6EA8, (1) 6GW8, (2) 12AT7, ( 1) 12AU7, (2) 6146 RF output stage. Transistors 2: (1) MPF-105 Fet-VFO; (1) 2N3393 voltage regulator. Combined with the transceiver is the SB-600 unit which includes the loudspeaker and the HP-23B model power supply which supplies voltages of 700 Vdc 250 mA, 300 Vdc 150 mA, 115 Vdc 10 mA and 12 V at 4, 76A. L'apparecchiatura riceve e trasmette segnali SSB (singola banda laterale) e CW (telegrafia) nelle bande di frequenza amatoriali da 80 a 10 metri. Specifiche tecniche: sensibilitą minore di 0,3 microvolt per un segnale di 10 dB in SSB, selettivitą 2,1 KHz minima a 6 dB. Trasmettitore: uscita di potenza in RF 100 W da 80 a 15 metri, 80 W sui 10 metri (con carico d'antenna di 50 Ohm). Calibrazione di sintonia 5 kHz/divisione, con quarzo a 100 KHz. Valvole impiegate 20: (1) OA2, (2) 6HS6, (4) 6AU6, (1) 6BN8, (1) 6CB6, (1) 6CL6, (4) 6EA8, (1) 6GW8, (2) 12AT7, (1) 12AU7, (2) 6146 stadio finale RF. Transistor 2: (1) MPF-105 Fet-VFO; (1) 2N3393 regolatore di tensione. Abbinato al ricetrasmettitore c'č l'unitą SB-600 che comprende l'altoparlante e l'alimentatore modello HP-23B che fornisce le tensioni di 700 Vdc 250 mA, 300 Vdc 150 mA, 115 Vdc 10 mA e 12 V a 4,76 A.
